WHAT ARE MONSTER CARDS
An all new and exciting upgrading system! Monster Cards allow your weapons to possess new and exciting attributes, to help you in your journey! These drop from all monsters throughout Madrigal! To see all possible cards and their effects, find them in the item Wiki:
HOW DO I UPGRADE MY WEAPON TO HAVE MONSTER CARDS?
You can either drop Weapons with Monster card Slots already upgraded, or manually pierce Monster Card Slots.
Upgrading your weapon to fit Monster Cards is just like piercing a weapon with GProtects to fit cards.
A Scroll of MProtect is required for each upgrade attempt, which sells for 15,000,000 Penya at [Consumables] Gisela in Flarine.
A Monster Stone is also required for each upgrade attempt, which are dropped from monsters occasionally throughout Madrigal.
Visit Upgrade Specialist BoBoChan in Flarine and Select [Safe Piercing (Monster Card)]
Place your desired weapon, along with MProtects and Monster Stones and begin upgrading.
Once a slot is ready, you are able to double-click the card and select it to the weapon of choice.
LIMITATIONS OF MONSTER CARDS
- Shields cannot have Monster Card Upgrades.
- Monster Cards in your second hand weapon (Blade) are not added to your characters stats.
- You can have up to 4 Monster Card Slots in your Weapon
- You can have up to 1. Ultimate Card, 2. Rare Cards or 4 General Cards in your Weapon at the same
